DESCRIPTION: Our client, a growing and successful publicly traded company, currently seels an individual capable of performing responsibilities associated with the preparation of financial reports under the SEC 1934 Act and 1935 Act, including the annual report on Form 10-K, Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q, Form 8-K, Form U-1, and Form S-3. The position will also include responsibilities with performing accounting research related to FASB and SEC pronouncements including evaluating their impact on the company. Responsibilities may also include involvement with financings that include SEC requirements and pro forma ratio calculations. The position provides opportunities to work with various levels of internal and external organizations dealing with new accounting issues and initiatives with which the company will be involved.

REQUIREMENTS:

*A strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SEC regulations

*Excellent communication, judgment, leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are necessary

*Must be proficient in the use of MS Office applications.

SALARY: $55,000-$75,000 + Bonus
