CFO/Controller Real Estate Company :

DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a diversified real estate company that provides development, leasing, property management and construction management services. They have a solid track record of success and are poised for future growth. The owners are seeking a CFO/Controller that will treat the business like it is their own, and in turn, you will have the opportunity to earn equity in the company in the future. The company also provides excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include:

1) Manage relationships with external auditors, banks and insurance companies

2) Oversee all accounting, financial reporting and compliance functions

3) Perform projections and financial analysis as requested by executive management

4) Be a proactive agent for change so that the company can improve its operations and profitability

5) Manage, develop and mentor staff

6) Cash management

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

2) 5+ years of progressive experience in the real estate industry, either in public accounting, industry or a combination of both

3) An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done

4) Strong knowledge of real estate accounting and taxes

5) Solid communication and interpersonal skills, ability to get along with people at all levels of the organization

SALARY: $85,000-$110,000 + Future Equity Ownership
