Senior Accounting Analyst :

DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, pricing and accounting for government and state contracts and other financial assistance as required.

Responsibilities include:

·Assist with strategic business planning
·Prepare monthly plan versus actual reports with appropriate analysis
·Perform pricing and proposal work for government and state contracts
·Prepare government rates
·Interact with government and public auditors
·General accounting duties
·Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
·Other finance department tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS:

·B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance
·3-8 years of experience
·Strong analytical, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.
·Planning and budget experience
·General accounting knowledge
·Government contracting experience a plus
·Public SEC accounting experience a plus
·Excellent PC skills (especially Excel), strong knowledge of other Office 2000 applications. Strong knowledge and experience with integrated accounting software.

SALARY: $55,000-$65,000
