Asst. Director - Special Projects, Reporting & Analysis :

DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include:

·Manage the coordination, preparation and analysis of key financial indicators. Spearhead projects management, financial and economic analysis, and financial modeling.

·Prepare financial exhibits and analysis to be included in the Company's earnings releases.

·Respond to special project requests made by executive management.

·Prepare and review financial disclosures to be included in the Company's 10-K, 10Q and 8-K SEC filings.

·Identify opportunities to improve business processes, strengthen internal controls and present recommendations to management.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA a strong plus, as well as Big 4 or Fortune 500 Company experience

* 7-10 years of accounting and SEC reporting experience; a strong knowledge of the insurance and/or investment industries is a plus

* Solid internal controls background and experience in managing/partnering with internal and external auditors

* Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively coach and mentor staff

SALARY: $80,000-$100,000 + Bonus
