Accounting Manager-Construction Company :

DESCRIPTION:

We are exclusively recruiting for a well established and growing construction company. Due to its sustained growth, this is a newly created position within the company. The successful candidate will manage the financial reporting process, as well as all daily accounting functions. You will supervise 3 staff and will report to the CFO/COO. Responsibilities include:

·Manage the closing process, including the coordination, preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and key financial indicators.

·Supervise, mentor and develop 3 staff, address daily accounting issues; manage cash flow; maintain the job cost reporting system.

·Respond to special project requests made by executive management.

·Identify opportunities to improve business processes, strengthen internal controls and present recommendations to management; work with external auditors.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA a strong plus, but not required

* 5-10 years of progressive accounting and experience, including the construction industry; a working knowledge of the Timberline accounting package is a plus

* A strong knowledge of construction accounting concepts and principles

* Good interpersonal skills, able to effectively work with all levels of the organization; positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed, learn and grow professionally

SALARY: $70,000-$80,000 + Bonus
