Supervisor-Technical Accounting & Reporting :
DESCRIPTION: Plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises all general ledger accounting activities. Responsible for resolution of all technical accounting issues, as well as gross margin accounting, reporting and analysis. Supervises the work activities of personnel assigned to general ledger accounting. Ensures projects undertaken are in accordance with overall Accounting goals and objectives. Supervises the preparation and dissemination of various monthly and year-end reports for each line of business. Reconciles financial results to projections and budget. Responsible for all derivative issues and accounting. Individual should possess knowledge of Generally-Accepted Accounting Principles and derivative accounting rules; CPA preferred, but not required; knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission helpful, but not required. |
