Assistant-Controller-Taxes :

Responsibilities include:

·Oversee the planning, coordination and direction of the company's tax compliance, tax research and related tax audit support.

·Ensure that the company is in compliance with all federal, state and local tax regulations.

·Strategize and identify ways to minimize the company's tax liability and maximize after tax profits.

·Ensure that new business ventures are properly established to comply with applicable tax regulations.

·Supervise, mentor and develop tax department staff.

·Participate in special projects and initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

·10+ years of tax experience

·CPA or MBA preferred

·Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations, as well as federal and state regulations relating to new business ventures

·Superior management, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with senior management

SALARY: $120,000-$150,000 + Bonus
