Manager of Financial Reporting (including SEC) :

Responsibilities include:

·Manage the quarterly and annual reporting process for Forms 10Q and 10K

·Identify ways to promote efficiency within the financial reporting process, create a best practices environment

·Maintain a knowledge of current FASB, SEC and Statutory reporting pronouncements and ensure proper application in the company?s reporting process

·Manage the research and proposed action relating to existing and proposed accounting and regulatory pronouncements and guidelines, including presentation of findings to senior management

·Supervise, mentor and develop assigned staff within the financial reporting area

·Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

·7+ years of experience, either in the Big 4/5 or a combination of public accounting and industry

·CPA is required

·Insurance industry experience is required

·Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements, along with excellent research and issue resolution skills; knowledge of STAT reporting requirements desired

·Superior interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with senior management

SALARY: $80,000-$110,000
