The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 4-10 years of experience, either with a Big 4/5 firm, or a mix of public accounting and industry experience. Insurance experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Responsibilities include:

·Spearhead special projects, new initiatives and investigations as directed by executive management. Remain involved throughout the entire analysis and resolution process, make presentations to executive management

·Work with Financial Planning & Analysis on high exposure financial analysis and special projects

·Determine the financial accounting impact of proposed mergers & acquisitions and other special transactions

·Identify ways to promote efficiency within the various accounting and finance departments in order to create a best practices environment

·Evaluate management controls (financial, information systems and operational); identify areas requiring improvements; document results of findings, propose practical solutions and assist in the implementation of those solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

·4-10 years of experience, either in the Big 4/5 or a combination of public accounting and industry

·CPA is required

·Insurance industry experience is a plus, but may not be required

·Strong knowledge of accounting and financial analysis, along with solid problem identification and resolution skills, knowledge of financial and operational controls

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with senior management and people at all levels of the organization
