Senior Financial Analyst (Special Accounting Projects) :

Responsibilities include: perform detailed reviews and assessments of accounting and reporting processes currently in place, identify ways to improve the process in order to increase efficiency and accuracy; participate in the implementation of your proposed changes and monitor the results to ensure that they are meeting the desired objectives of the company; work closely with division controllers and other members of management in order to determine the type of financial information and reports that they need in order to be able to make timely and well-informed decisions, work with appropriate accounting personnel to modify current processes as needed in order to meet these needs; perform other financial inquiries, investigations and special projects as requested.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; 2-8 years of experience in accounting/finance, including exposure to both special projects and traditional accounting activities, such as the closing/financial reporting process (if your experience has been in private industry) or auditing (if your experience has been in public accounting); strong problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively and out of the box; excellent communication skills.
