Manager of Accounting :

Responsibilities include the supervision and development of 10 staff; oversee the closing process for 3 lines of business; ensure that accounting principles are being followed; consolidation and analysis of the financial results of the U.S. based businesses; oversight of the allocation of corporate expenses to the appropriate business units; staying ahead of the curve as it relates to new and proposed accounting pronouncements and reporting standards; spearhead process improvement initiatives to streamline the monthly closing and financial reporting process; manage special projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA a must; 7+ years of progressive experience in either public accounting or a mix of public and private industry; strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills; knowledge of Hyperion a plus, but not required; excellent oral and written communication skills.
