Senior Collections Analyst :

DESCRIPTION: Our client is a large division of a Fortune 100 company. They are currently seeking a Senior Collections Analyst to join their team of credit professionals. This company is a well-diversified, strong, growing enterprise with an international customer base. Responsibilities include: process and coordinate Letters of Credit with the banking industry for international customers; coordinate domestic and international bankruptcies with general accounting relative to bad debt reserves and recoveries; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting of cash receipts for assigned customers; coordinate with finance team members to resolve customer invoice discrepancies; coordinate with Sales and Marketing to collect delinquent customer accounts where appropriate; meet regularly with Regional V.P.'s and General Managers to provide updates on the status of customer accounts; develop strategies and negotiate directly with the customer on deferrals and/or payouts; work with the Net Operating Asset Team to develop strategies to improve collections; coordinate with the Cash Application Dept. to ensure all cash received is applied correctly to the customer accounts.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree; 5+ years credit and collections experience with a large company; excellent oral and written communication skills; good computer skills; understanding of international cultural differences; strong desire to succeed.
