Financial Manager :

DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large Fortune 100 global manufacturer, is currently in search of a Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate resources engaged in the preparation, consolidation, analysis, assessment and documentation of information to summarize and measure financial performance, evaluate business plans, identify variances and forecast results pertaining to the operations of this business unit.

Responsibilities include: direct the development of the unit's budgetary and measurement programs, the preparation of profit, business and capital plans, forecasts, comparative analyses, special studies and the substantiation of financial data; coordinate the analysis, documentation and preparation of capital appropriation requests, pricing proposals and business arrangements; direct the review and analysis of financial performance against profit plans and ensure compliance with the unit's annual objectives, company policies and procedures; special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; strong analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization; strong desire to make positive changes and succeed.
