Tax Senior-Public Accounting :

DESCRIPTION: Established and very reputable local CPA firm seeks a Tax Senior to join their team.

NOTE: The firm is willing to be very flexible for the right candidate. You can have a traditional full-time schedule or if you prefer, perhaps a reduced (3 days a week) schedule in the summer and full-time during tax season or the rest of the year. They will work with you if they see you as a good fit.

This firm has a solid track record or retaining staff for long periods of time. They are an employee-friendly firm that provides solid benefits and a pleasant working environment.

Responsibilities include the preparation of estate, high net worth individual and closely held business federal and state (some multi-state) tax returns; related tax research and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; 3+ years tax experience; exposure to estate and high net worth individual tax returns a plus; experience with Profx a plus; ability to work independently is a must; CPA a plus.

NOTE: The successful candidate does not need to be currently working in a public accounting firm.
