Senior Financial Analyst-Manufacturing Operations :

DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large Fortune 100 global manufacturer is currently in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will interact heavily with personnel involved in the manufacturing and production process. You will be one of the key financial leaders that provides valuable financial information and input into the business decisions that directly impact the company's bottom line. Responsibilities include: work closely with operational personnel while coordinating new business proposals and arrangements; assess the appropriateness and oversee the preparation of capital acquisition requests; direct the review and analysis of financial performance against profit plans and work with operational management to fully understand the variances and jointly propose ways to improve in areas as needed; develop financial forecasts for the business unit based on obtaining an in-depth knowledge of the unit's manufacturing process and operations; be a change agent and identify areas in which the unit can improve; perform and oversee special analyses and projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including heavy interaction with shop floor personnel; strong enterprise (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or similar) computer experience; solid verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact well with both corporate office and shop floor personnel.
