Payroll Accountant :

DESCRIPTION: Our client currently seeks a Payroll Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities include: coordinate the in-house payroll process, which includes approximately 300+ checks on a weekly basis; answer questions from payroll clerks; calculate and record payroll taxes; prepare manual checks and check voids; prepare W-2's; prepare magnetic media reports on a quarterly and year-end basis; become familiar with the payroll computer application; special projects as assigned.

NOTE: There is no relocation assistance for this position.

REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years of in-house payroll experience (a college degree IS NOT REQUIRED for this position); detail-oriented; enjoys being hands-on and getting into the details.
