Fortune 100 Co.-A/P Managerial Position :

DESCRIPTION: Our client, a well-diversified Fortune 100 company, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Shared Business Services processing team. This is a tremendous opportunity to join one of the premier companies in the U.S. at a senior level. Responsibilities include: managing the processing of Accounts Payable (utilizing SAP); lead process improvement initiatives in order to create a best practices environment; supervise and lead direct reports in order to help them reach their maximum potential and remain focused on the company's goals; analyze data and provide guidance and solutions regarding the processing of invoices; work with Controllers and Managers of the company's business units in order to assure customer satisfaction relating to the Accounts Payable processing system; lead special projects, systems implementations and new initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (an MBA/CPA preferred, but not a must); 7-15 years of progressive experience, including managing staff in an accounts payable processing environment (shared services type of arrangement ideal) at a large company; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SAP is preferred; strong leadership skills; track record of providing ideas in order to improve processes; strong desire to succeed; CAPP or member of IAPP preferred.
