Product Cost Analyst :

DESCRIPTION: Our client, a Fortune 75 global company, currently seeks a Product Cost Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of this finance team and will participate in a rotational development program after serving in this initial position. The company provides outstanding benefits including 100% paid MBA program. The intended track of the successful candidate will be into a management position, therefore high potential candidates are desired.

NOTE: Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must be either U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.

Responsibilities include: provide financial and cost support for various programs by analyzing part and/or program costs; assist in strategic sourcing decisions; identify cost reduction opportunities and establish target costs to support program cost objectives; provide ad-hoc product cost data and reports as required by various internal customer departments; assist program financial analysts prepare monthly analysis reports, which compare actual cost versus target cost; facilitate "front-to-backs" to identify cost reduction initiatives; prepare financial forecast data; participate on a variety of teams in order to complete special projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; 3+ years of financial experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access; solid interpersonal, oral and writing skills; strong desire to succeed.
