Financial Analyst-New Business Development :

DESCRIPTION: Our client is a successful operating division of a Fortune 75 company. They are currently seeking an accounting/finance professional to join their team and be an integral part of providing financial support for new business sales campaigns to commercial customers.

This position offers the qualified candidate an opportunity for high exposure in the fields of contract law/management; commercial pricing and product performance; as well as the opportunity to rotate into different areas of the company in the future. Responsibilities include being part of a cross-functional team to support sales campaigns by participating in campaign strategy formulation with representatives from Sales & Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Programs, Aftermarket Operations, and Engineering; prepare cost sheets and various other analyses detailing the financial and business ramifications of the campaign proposals; present analyses and recommendations to senior management for approval; review proposed documentation to ensure accurate representation of the company's commitments and conditions; provide continued financial support through the sales campaign process; participate in negotiations with customers.

REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Accounting or Finance; 3-7 years of experience in related field; ability to deal with a wide range of business people and management levels; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to respond to tight deadlines and changing priorities; some travel may be required; previous customer interface/negotiation experience preferred.
