Financial Analyst :

DESCRIPTION: Our client is an established, growing unit of an international Connecticut headquartered company. They are seeking a highly motivated and energetic financial analyst to join their team of diverse financial and accounting professionals. Responsibilities include: take ownership for the financial accounting of long-term contracts with some of the company's largest customers; provide process improvement suggestions; perform financial analysis of costs incurred relating to contracts; interact with external customers and internal departments such as Legal, Treasury, Marketing and others.

This is a high exposure position that will provide you with the opportunity to work with many different people and departments within the company. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; 1-3 years of finance/accounting experience; exceptional organizational, communication/presentation and computer skills (working knowledge of Access a plus); detail oriented; strong desire to succeed.
